Vickey Mauerman: Vickey has been the Foundation Treasurer for approximately five years. She is an Enrolled Agent, certified by the Department of Treasury for the IRS. Currently employed as an accountant for the Higher Education Coordination Board, she also is the accountant for their family business. Vickey, her husband, and two children are all alumni of Tumwater High School. As an active school volunteer, Vickey is dedicated to education and firmly believes that education benefits society on every level.

Sue Vickerman: Sue is a partner in Armour Vickerman, PLLC a local CPA firm here in town. Sue is a licensed CPA in the state of WA and obtained her BA in Accounting from St. Martin’s University and her MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Sue has been a long time supporter of the Tumwater School District. Her daughter Becky (Simpson) graduated from THS in 1998 and her son-in-law Aaron Hufana was in the THS class of 1997. During Becky’s Tumwater school years Sue was as familiar face around campus volunteering for a variety of duties. By being a member of the Tumwater Education Foundation Board, Sue feels like she is giving back to the school district that gave so much to her daughter. Sue lives with her husband, Roy in Tumwater and is an active member of the Rotary Club of South Puget Sound and is the Secretary on the board of Harlequin Productions. Sue is also an adjunct professor at St. Martin’s University.

Linda Metzger: Linda has volunteered for the Foundation since moving to Tumwater area in 1988, she served as Secretary for 6 years and is currently the Foundations liaison with the Tumwater School District. She believes the Foundation is one of the best ways for community members to help all students within the Tumwater School District. Linda has worked for the Tumwater School District since 1989 and is currently the District Career and Technical Education Supervisor. Prior to entering the field of education in 1987, she worked as an RN in Tacoma. Her two sons and two of her three step-children graduated from Tumwater High School. During her free time, Linda enjoys spending time with her 11 grandchildren, golfing, gardening, and needlepoint.

Kelli Noonan: Kelli and her husband, Pat, are Tumwater natives. Their entire family attended MTS Elementary, Tumwater Middle School and Tumwater High School. She has been a volunteer in the Tumwater School District for the last 16 years. Kelli has found that being on the Tumwater Education Foundation has given her a broader perspective that allows her to positively affect more children in the school district. She is, at present, co-president of the PTO at MTS along with her duties as the vice President of the Foundation. Kelli owns and operates her own home business, Tumwater Electrolysis and her husband is the Battalion Chief for the City of Olympia Fire Department. Their oldest child attends Washington State University studying International Business. They have one daughter at MTS and one at Tumwater Middle school.

Mary Henley: Mary is the Executive Assistant to the commissioner of the Employment Security Department. A career state employee, Mary is looking forward to retirement in 2007. She has been an active volunteer in the district, having served on the parent group at Bush Middle School and the site team at Tumwater High School. She was also an enthusiastic supporter of music programs at THS. In the community, Mary serves on the board of the Thurston County Food Bank and is a member of the statewide steering committee for the State Employees Combined Fund Drive. Mary and her husband Ed have two sons, both graduates of Tumwater High School. In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling and quilting.

Lynn Thompson - Lynn and her husband, Jim, moved to Tumwater in 1983. They have four children all of whom have graduated from Tumwater schools. Lynn has been an active participant in the Tumwater School
District volunteering and also substituting. She was Vice-President of the PTO for Michael T. Simmons where here older children attended elementary school and then also for Tumwater Hill Elementary where her younger children attended. Lynn sat on both Tumwater Hill and Tumwater Middle School's Site Teams for four years. With all of the children out of the house, Lynn is happy to volunteer her time with the Tumwater Education Foundation.

Dave Littleton - Dave serves as the Foundation’s financial chair, bringing several years of experience both as a financial advisor and high school teacher. Dave is the licensed financial advisor of Linsco/Private Ledger, and Vice President of O Bee Financial Services at O Bee Credit Union. Prior to his current eight year career in the financial world, Dave was a high school English teacher for 19 years, 18 of those years at Tumwater High where he taught and coached side-by-side with numerous teachers, staff, and administration many of whom are still active in the school district today. Dave continues his support in the community as a volunteer coach and referee in the Tumwater youth basketball program and at Tumwater Middle School. He also teaches Sunday School at Mtn. View Nazarene Church. Dave and his wife, Megan, have two children attending Tumwater Schools. He is very thankful to be part of TEF, a valuable foundation that offers so much opportunity for the community’s students.

Nancy Lomax Evans attended Tumwater Schools from kindergarten to twelfth grade and graduated from Tumwater High School. She returned to Tumwater to do her student teaching and later became a teacher at Black Lake Elementary and Peter G. Schmidt. She taught kindergarten, first, second, and third grade for about 16 years. In 1997, she took some time off from her career to be a stay-at-home mom. Her son is now at Black Hills High School and her daughter is at Black Lake Elementary. Nancy is a Girl Scout Leader, a co-founder of the MOMS Club of Tumwater, South Sound Reading Foundation volunteer, BHHS Booster Club Member, and Black Lake Elementary PTA member. Nancy and her husband, Michael, highly value education and lifelong learning.
