Tumwater Education Foundation
Following the policy set forth by the Tumwater Education Foundation, we wish to establish a perpetual memorial scholarship in memory of Jake Berschauer.
It is our request that a scholarship in the amount of _____ be awarded to the Class of 2003. We understand that in order to finalize the scholarship as a perpetual scholarship we must have a balance of $5000 (not including interest) by April 1, 2004. Starting with the Class of 2004, the amount of the scholarship(s) will vary dependent upon the amount of interest accumulated that year. If no applicants meet the necessary qualifications, a scholarship will not be awarded and interest earned over the year will be added to the basic investment. The principle funds may be invested in interest bearing vehicles, both FDIC and non-FDIC protected. Use of investment grade corporate bonds, government bonds, Federally Insured Deposits, and Certificates of Deposits are acceptable.
